Our supplier is a well-known Swedish steel manufacturer. They are a global leader in hardened steel production. They provide the steel for most of the armored platforms for the US Military, such as the M1 Abrams and the MRAP.

Armorbloks is designed and manufactured here in our Oregon, USA facility.

Because we source our quality steel from choice suppliers overseas, it can take between 1-3 months before you recieve your Armorbloks.

Yes, for some products. Because we operate from our own manufacturing workshop, we can accommodate project-specific modifications such as custom panel sizing & shapes, additional mounting points, and other specialized alterations. This is true for any of our Armorpanels options.

Armorbloks are manufactured as a standardized 16" × 16" modular system less than an inch thick. These dimensions cannot be customized in the way that Armorpanels can. If your project has unique requirements, we encourage you to reach out. Our head engineer can personally talk you through what is and isn’t customizable within your project parameters.

Armorbloks are 22 lbs/sq. ft. The weight of the panels are between 5.6 lbs/sq. ft and 16.9 lbs/sq. ft depending on the thickness you need.

Our Armorblok consists of a 3.5mm strike plate, a 13mm ballistic fiberglass core, and a 6.5mm back plate. Together, this layered design provides protection against the full range of standard UL 752 threats, which covers handguns, shotguns, rifles and even military-level threats like .50 sniper rifles and armor piercing rounds. Our modular Armorpanels are available in 3.5mm, 6mm, and 10.5mm thicknesses, allowing different levels of defense against specific UL752 threats. For many projects, such as a home or workspace retrofit, a thinner panel system will suffice for most common threats. To learn more about our product our product options, click here.
